The Lobby Score

The Lobby Score is an independent 0–100 rating of a lobbyist, built from three inputs: verified client reviews, confirmed outcomes on the work they've taken on, and industry reputation. It sits on every profile block so you can compare two lobbyists without decoding a résumé.

Scores are grouped into bands, and you can filter the directory by band:

A90–100
B80–89
C70–79
D60–69
F50–59
The score can't be bought. Premium membership does not raise it, and no placement inside it is for sale. A lobbyist moves their score by delivering results and collecting verified reviews — that is the entire mechanism, deliberately.

Average price

The average monthly price a lobbyist has charged clients across the services they provide. It's a blended figure — a single number covering engagements of different sizes, scopes, and lengths.

Treat it as a range-finder, not a quote. Two clients paying the same lobbyist may be paying for very different work. For a specific breakdown, read the lobbyist's profile, where price history is listed by engagement.

Clients represented

The number of distinct clients a lobbyist has represented since Q1 2025, the point from which we began tracking engagements on the platform.

It is a measure of recent activity rather than career total — a lobbyist with thirty years of practice and a small current roster will show a low number here. Read it alongside years of experience, not instead of it.

Warm leads

A warm lead is inbound. The business found Find a Lobbyist™ while researching their own problem, described the objective they're trying to reach, and is weighing whether to hire representation at all.

They arrive earlier in the decision, which means more of the conversion is yours to do — and more of the relationship is yours to shape.

Hot leads

A hot lead is qualified, budgeted, and ready to engage. Many are sourced outbound by our own team after we identify a business with a live issue — a pending rule, a contract cycle, a permitting fight — and a clear reason to act now.

The difference from a warm lead isn't the quality of the business. It's how far along they already are.

Lead-generation campaign fees

Campaigns are sold in packs of 10 to 50 leads. Rather than charging a flat price per name, we charge a percentage of the campaign each lead produces — so the fee scales with the size of the work, not the size of the list.

In practice that runs roughly $300 to $1,000 per lead, depending on the campaign. There are no retainers and no listing fees.

Appointment setting

When a lead is ready to talk, someone has to get the meeting on the calendar. For premium members that happens automatically and at no charge — it's built into the profile.

For standard members, our team sets the appointment by hand, and that carries a manual 2% charge on the campaign.
